Stanghow
31st August to 1st September
31st August to 1st September
Last year 2018, Stanghow village entered for the very first time the Scarecrow festival alongside several other villages in the East Cleveland area.
Our theme last year was a mish mash of all sorts of things witches, policemen and women, robbers, fairy tales and story books. Our friends at Lockwood View, who provide personalised centred support for adults, also spent many hours building Noah's Ark, Noah, his wife and many of the animals, and what a magnificent job they did.
The Stanghow Festival this year, will have a 'Children's Nursery Rhymes, Fairy Stories and Films' theme and will commence on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September. The timing is just before the children go back to school, so make sure you bring them along to see it.
